The Chiefs are playing this afternoon and I can't watch without some nibbles to calm my nerves.
I had some leftover raw cashews on hand and decided to make some healthy toasted cashews. It only takes 30 minutes from start to finish and I love to serve them while they are still warm!
Ingredients
1 C raw cashews
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1T agave
1 teaspoon sea salt
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Spread cashews on a lined cookie sheet and toast for about 10 min.
Step 2
Now in a bowl, toss the toasted cashews, agave, sesame seeds, and sea salt. Spread them back on to the same lined cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake another 15 min or till they are golden.
Step 3
Remove from the oven and toss them with the remainder of the sesame seeds.
